  维护世界和平是佛教所倡导的核心。和平无时不为世人所渴盼,亦是人类自古以来孜孜以求的宁静祥和。而佛教是主张和平的宗教,从根本上来说,佛教与和平有着密不可分的关系。

  慈悲和智慧也是佛教的核心价值。它不仅是人际交往的规则，也是国际交往的准则。慈悲是内心平静的基础，也是世界和平的基石。

  经过几千年延绵不断的战火和无处不在的争执，人类开始重新审视佛陀智慧对于世界和平的价值。当今世界需要佛法，世界和平需要佛教徒的不懈的努力。

  The Middle Way is the core value of traditional Chinese culture. Sustainable peace is the common topic of human all over the world. There is no border for peace and Buddhism.

  Upholding world peace is the core mission of Buddhism. Humans constantly aspire to peace and have been striving for it relentlessly from the beginning of time. Buddhism is a religion that advocates peace. Hence in essence, Buddhism and peace are inseparable.

  What also lie in the core values of Buddhism are compassion and wisdom. They are the guidelines for human and societal interactions. Compassion can bring inner peace to our hearts and it is also a foundation for world peace.

  Traumatized by thousands of years of wars and conflicts, humans have started to reconsider the value of the Buddha’s wisdom to world peace. The world needs Buddhism and the unremitting efforts of Buddhists.
